‘Large’ Sinkhole Closes Crooked Lane In Upper Merion
The sinkhole will close the roadway for at least a week, authorities said.

NORRISTOWN, PA - A large sinkhole in Upper Merion has prompted the closure of a roadway for at least a week while construction is underway, authorities said.
Crooked Lane, off of the Pennsylvania Turnpike by Yerkes Road, is closed for at least a week at the intersection of Church Road due to a “large sink hole that has formed,” Upper Merion police said in a statement Sunday.
It’s not immediately clear how or when the sinkhole formed.
