Leach to Throw Campaign Kick-Off Party Today
State Senator Daylin Leach is inviting everyone to join him for a family-friendly kick off to his re-election campaign featuring food, drinks and facepainting for the kids.

State Sen. Daylin Leach (D-17th) has invited the public to join him at his re-election campaign kick-off party from 2-4 p.m. today, Sunday, Jan. 22, at the Dolce Valley Forge, 301 West DeKalb Pike in King of Prussia. The family-friendly event will feature food, drinks and facepainting for the kids.
"We want to rally the troops a little bit and give out nominating petitions," Leach told The Times Herald. "I will talk about what the last four years have been about and explain the rationale for my reelection campaign.”
The Republicans haven't yet named a candidate to oppose Leach in the 17th District, which includes Norristown. East Norriton and Conshohocken were carved from it in the Republican redistricting, but Ambler and Whitpain were added.
