Man Fatally Shot In Montco Fitness Center Parking Lot
A fatal shooting at a fitness center parking lot in Montgomery County is under investigation, police said.
UPPER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — A fatal shooting at a fitness center parking lot in Upper Merion Township is under investigation. The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. Friday night at the LA Fitness at the King of Prussia Town Center, police said.
One person was shot and transported to Paoli Hospital. Police said there is no threat to the community as the person or persons of interest behind the shooting have been detained.
The shooting followed an argument between two men playing basketball inside the gym, NBC10 reported.

Action News reported the incident was a "shootout" and both men fired at each other.
No arrests have been announced. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
