Man Steals $2,000 Price-Gun from Giant on Dekalb Pike, Police Say

The man entered the back room of the store and stole the price-gun, which he hid beneath his shirt before exiting.

Whitpain Police are searching for a man who stole a $2,000 price-gun from the Giant Food Store on Dekalb Pike on June 17.

The man is described as being in his early 20s, wearing a gray sweatshirt, black t-shirt, black pants and a black and orange San Francisco Giants baseball cap. He reportedly arrived to the store at 2:23 a.m. in a teal colored sedan with a white female, who is described as being in her early 20s with red hair and glasses, wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans.

According to the police report, the man entered the back room of the store and stole the price-gun, which he hid beneath his shirt before exiting. The price-gun is described as being black with "FM" and "4" etched into the left side.
