Man Steals Tattoos

A customer at a local tattoo shop had $130 worth of work done and ran out without paying the bill.

Do we call it an "Ink and Run," or maybe a "Tat and Dash?"

According to a report from the , on Sunday, Dec. 11, at approximately 8 p.m., a customer at on the 500 block of West Marshall Street had approximately $130 worth of work done before running from the store without paying the bill.

A tattoo artist at the shop described giving the suspect a spider web tattoo on his right elbow and a skull on his right forearm before he bolted from the store, skipping out on the bill.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, approximately 5'10", 170 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes and a beard. The suspect also had previous tattoo work featuring unidentified lettering on his chest and stomach. The man filled out a form at the shop before having the work done identifying himself as "Mike Wells," but the address he provided does not exist and the phone number is not in service.
