Mercy Suburban Hospital Hosting Free Health Events
Mercy Suburban is recognizing Older Americans Month with a free health fair and a public seminar on joint pain.

May is Older Americans Month, a time to recognize the senior population. As the life expectancy of seniors continues to rise, there has been more focus on enhancing the golden years. In Pennsylvania alone, there are more than 1,138,250 people over the age of 65.
On Wednesday, May 30, Mercy Suburban Hospital will offer a free community event featuring an expert physician panel discussion on how to restore sore joints and give patients a fresh start. The panel includes orthopedic surgeons Dr. Dennis McHugh and Dr. John Nevulis, Physiatrists Dr. Thomas Haley and Dr. Lance Roberts, Radiologist Dr. William Mechanic and Rheumatologist Dr. Robert Kimelheim.
Free arthritis assessments will be offered. The seminar begins with a health fair at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place in the Mercy Suburban Hospital 's Walkup Room, located on the second floor. Dinner will be served.
