Missing Norristown Woman Found in South Carolina
Geraldine Jones, the 39-year-old woman who had been missing for more than a month, was located this weekend in South Carolina.

According to reports from the , on Monday, Oct. 3, was reportedly located by sheriff's deputies in Greenville, South Carolina on Sunday, Nov. 6.
Geraldine Jones' family reported the woman missing after she boarded a SEPTA Regional Rail train headed for North Broad Street in Philadelphia in the company of a male friend and did not return from the city or call. Jones reportedly suffers from bi-polar disorder and diabetes and her family feared she was not taking her medication. Jones was still listed as missing on Saturday, Nov. 5 when a family member contacted Norristown Police to report usage of Jones' ATM card.
Greenville Sheriff's Department deputies encountered Jones on the morning of Sunday, Nov. 6, when emergency medical services were called to a local shelter in Greenville to evaluate a client for immediate health issues. The deputy on the scene reported that Jones was alert and aware of herself and where she was. According to the report, Jones made statements to to the deputy suggesting that she left Norristown to start her life over somewhere else.

Once identifying Jones, Greenville deputies checked the FBI's National Crime Information Center, discovered that Jones was reported missing and contacted her family and Norristown PD.
