Montco Promotes Outdoor Activities Amid Pandemic: Report
The Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board is promoting tourism with a new marketing plan, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Tourism, like elsewhere, has been affected by closures and delays resulting from the new coronavirus in Montgomery County. But, the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board has a plan.
The Philadelphia Business Journal reports the board is developing a marketing plan that promotes the region's outdoor and hospitality features to drive tourism to the area even as some indoor offerings remain shuttered.
According to the report, the plan intends to market not only tourist attractions, but also hotel and tourist attraction safety, urging visitors to check out the county's outdoor sites while social distancing and staying near home.
