Montco Resident Wins $430,000 Lottery Online Game

A game called "Lily Pad Payout" resulted in a massive jackpot for one local resident.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A Montgomery County resident playing an online lottery game has won a massive jackpot worth nearly a half a million dollars, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced this week.

The game, Lily Pad Payout, is described as an "EZ eInstant game" by the lottery. "Game play features a chance to multiply the prizes shown up to five times and a chance to activate a bonus game," the lottery said.

Players start with the jackpot at $50,000, and they can continue to multiply their total prize amount as they play.

The Montgomery County winner came away with $430,392.16. The lottery did not disclose the winner's hometown.

The lottery's online games are played on personal computers and phones, not in stores.
