Montco Update: COVID-19 Dashboard Outage, 8,667 Cases
The county said the dashboard should be repaired by July 8.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Crews were working Tuesday to repair technical issues that prevented Montgomery County's COVID-19 dashboard from updating between July 1 and July 7, the county announced on Facebook.
In the post, the county stated it expects to have the dashboard back up and running by Wednesday. Up-to-date details on the new coronavirus will also be reported in a 3 p.m. press conference scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.

As of Tuesday, the health department reported Montgomery County had a total of 8,667 confirmed positive cases of the virus to date. It had another 15 probable cases of the virus as of Tuesday afternoon.
So far in Montgomery County, a total of 63,946 people have tested negative from the virus, and 815 people have died from complications of COVID-19.

Across Pennsylvania, a total of 88,691 people have tested positive for the virus, and another 2,608 probable cases were reported.
All told, 758,803 tests for the new coronavirus have returned negative results in Pennsylvania. Further, 6,787 people have died from complications of the virus.
In Montgomery County, 96 long-term care facilities have reported outbreaks of the new coronavirus, totaling 2,895 cases cumulatively. The death toll of the virus in long-term care facilities stands at 758.
Additionally, a total of 160 facility workers in the state have tested positive for the virus.
