National Night Out Festivities Set In Norristown
Live music, food, entertainment, games, refreshments, exhibits, and more can be found at the annual block party event.
NORRISTOWN, PA — The annual National Night Out celebration will be held in Norristown Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m. on the 500 block of Haws Avenue.
Various local communities will hold a similar block party-style event Tuesday night. The Norristown event will run until 7:30 p.m.
The nationally coordinated event aims to bring police and the community closer together to promote awareness, safety, and neighborhood unity. National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in the fight for a safer nation, officials said.

The night will feature games, entertainment, free food and refreshments, giveaways, and much more.
Representatives from numerous local businesses and organizations will be on hand, including Norristown police and fire, Norristown Neighborhood Watch, municipal council, other government officials, and more. Various local nonprofits and businesses will also be on hand providing information on their services.
