National Weather Service Announces Tornado Watch for MontCo
A tornado watch is in effect until 10 p.m. Thursday.

A tornado watch is in effect for Montgomery County until 10 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
No additional information was given by the NWS, but the tornado watch also applies to Adams, Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Mifflin, Monroe, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Perry, Philadelphia, Schuylkill, Snyder, Union, and York counties.
In the event of a tornado, the basement or lowest floor of your home will be the best place to keep safe, according to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety.
