New 'Inclusive' Cafe Opens On Skippack Pike

The unique new operation aims to "empower all people, including those with disabilities and their families," to work and dine.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A local nonprofit has launched a unique new concept in Norristown: a cafe that aims to be as inclusive as possible to all groups of people.

The So Much To Give Inclusive Cafe, put together by the organization Pillars of Light, is now open at its location on 3401 W. Skippack Pike in Cedars.

"(The) mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive experience to empower all people, including those with disabilities and their families, to have equal opportunities to work, dine, socialize, volunteer, and learn," State Rep. Matt Bradford (D-Montgomery), who will be in attendance at a forthcoming grand opening, said in a statement.

The cafe has hired 47 employees thus far, and is open for breakfast and dinner from Wednesday through Friday, and lunch over the weekends.

The grand opening will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. wiht a special meet and greet and dessert reception.
