Norristown Agencies to Host Youth Rally on Saturday
The free event, which is part of the Norristown Bicentennial celebration, will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Harding Boulevard in front of the Norristown PAL.
Numerous public service and law enforcement agencies will join together on Saturday, to host the Eighth-Annual Youth Rally from noon to 3 p.m. on Harding Boulevard in front of the Norristown Police Athletic League.
Joining the event will be members of the Greater Norristown PAL, Norristown Communities That Care, Family Services, Norristown Public Library, Montgomery County Sheriff's Department, Montgomery County District Attorney's Office and the Norristown Police Department.
The event aims to provide residents and families an opportunity to learn about government and non-government services that are available to them, and allows them to interact with local government and police personnel on a face to face basis.
Additionally, the event provides free food and activities for kids, including a moon bounce, games, musical performances and dancing.
