Norristown Council's Resolution For 'Chief Willie G. Richet Day'
The resolution will hang in Richet's new cubicle at the Greater Norristown Police Athletic League.

Norristown police chief Willie G. Richet was honored at the Norristown municipal council meeting on Tuesday night when the council approved a resolution to make that day "Chief Willie G. Richet Day" in Norristown.
Council recognized Richet after his successor, Mark Talbot, Sr., was sworn in as the new chief. There was much applause for both men.
Council president Gary Simpson called for Tuesday, Nov. 19 to be "Chief Willie G. Richet Day" in Norristown, and said that the resolution will be hanging in Richet's new cubicle at the Greater Norristown Police Athletic League in Norristown.
"I thank all of you guys and ladies for being so good and working for me so much, and I ask that you work for the new chief, Mark Talbot, in same way," said Richet.
