Norristown Launches 'Playstreet' To Bring Green Spaces To Kids
Norristown's new "Playstreet" initiative launched this week, offering local children a safe way to play outside.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Norristown's new "Playstreet" initiative launched this week, offering local children a safe way to play outside.
The first event in the summer series, which transforms a block in town into a green play space, was held on Tuesday at 900 W. Lafayette Street.
"Many children do not have easy access to green spaces in town," the municipality said. "The goal of a Norristown Playstreet is to create a safe environment for children to play in their neighborhoods free from the risk of traffic or harm."
