Norristown Little League Sign-Ups Start Tuesday

It may be a bit chilly now, but before you know it it'll be time to play ball. Norristown Little League will be holding open registration for the 2012 season starting on Tuesday, Jan. 17 through Friday, Jan. 27. Registration is on weekdays from 6:15-7:15 p.m. in the gymnasium.

All Norristown youth, ages 4 to 16 as of April 30, 2012, are eligible to play in one of the following divisions:

• T-Ball (ages 4-5) – $50 for the first player; $25 for each additional player.
• Instructional (ages 6-8) – $100 for the first player; $25 for each additional player.
• Minor (ages 9-10) – $100 for the first player; $25 for each additional player.
• Major (ages 11-12) – $100 for the first player; $25 for each additional player.
• Junior Travel (ages 13-14) – $150 for each player.
• Senior Travel (ages 15-16) – $150 for each player.

Parents enrolling their children should bring a completed form along with payment. Checks should be made payable to "NLL." You can download a registration form from our PDF section or find one on the Norristown Little League website.

Five free raffle tickets are included with registration. Parents can sell the tickets for $5 each or keep them for themselves. The winner will be selected at the year end picnic. First place in the 2012 raffle pays $500.
