Norristown Man Threatens Suicide on White House Website
The Secret Service contacted Norristown Police to warn them of the threat.

According to a report from the Norristown Police Department, a Norristown man threatened to kill himself on the White House's website message board over the weekend.
Police received a call shortly before 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27, from United States Secret Service agent Ryan Van Deusen. Agent Van Deusen apprised officers of a message posted to the White House website from a Norristown resident in which the resident threatened to kill himself. The message also allegedly stated the man, whose last known address is a homeless shelter in Norristown, had tried to commit suicide on three previous occasions. Reportedly, no threats were made to any government official.
Norristown Police filed an involuntary commitment (commonly known as a 302 commitment) with Montgomery County Emergency Services and a warrant.
