Norristown's Jahquil Hargrove Named Miami University Athlete of the Week
Another Norristown athlete making a name for himself in college.
According to Miami University's Athletics blog, Norristown native Jahquil Hargrove is bringing the heat Florida. Hargrove, a sophomore sprinter on the track team, was named Miami’s Athlete of the Week last week.
Hargrove reportedly had a thrilling meet for the Miami RedHawks at the Miami Invitational on Saturday, March 31, totaling 24 points in three events and leading Miami to the team title. Hargorve was the runner-up in the 400m dash with a personal best of 47.57, ran the third leg on the 4x400m relay team, and ran the 200m dash.
