Norristown Woman Pleads Guilty to Assaulting a Mother Walking Her Baby

According to The Times Herald, a 34-year-old Norristown woman is awaiting sentencing after she pleaded guilty to assualting another woman in June, while the victim was walking her 7-month-old daughter on the 700 block of West Marshall Street.

According to police reports and court records, Channel White pulled up alongside her victim and the baby on June 3, 2011, got out of a beige sedan and said, "Are you ready for this ass whooping?"

White then reportedly punched the victim and the two women struggled with the baby between them. A crossing guard intervened and rescued the child from the fray.
