He was a retired letter carrier with the Norristown Post Office and a Korean War veteran.
Clarence L. " Bates " Adams, 82, was born in Norristown on October 20, 1931 and died on Thursday at the Einstein Medical Center in East Norriton. A graduate of Norristown High School, he served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War and he had been a letter carried at the Norristown Post Office for the U.S. Postal Service. He loved to hunt, and had lived in East Norriton since 1966.
