Occupy Norristown Donates Food to the Women's Center

Occupy Norristown delivered three Thanksgiving food baskets to the at 107 E. Main Street on Tuesday, Nov. 22. The food will be distributed to needy families served by their programs.

The food was collected at the Occupy Norristown demonstration site in front of the on Saturday afternoon.

“Although our group is concerned with larger national issues such as increasing inequality and corporate control of the political process, it is also important to think of others in our own communities,” said Jeanne Vilardofsky, a member of the group.
