Amber Alert Canceled, Montco Girl Found Safe

Pennsylvania State Police issued an Amber Alert Friday for a 7-year-old Montgomery County girl.

UPDATE: The Amber Alert has been canceled; the child was found safe.

ELKINS PARK, PA — Pennsylvania State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 7-year-old Montgomery County girl who was reported kidnapped Friday afternoon.

Giselle Torres was last seen Friday at 2:18 p.m. at Montgomery Ave in Elkins Park, according to information from Cheltenham Township police.

Giselle is a Hispanic female, standing 4 feet tall. She has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a white tank top and purple tights.

Police said she was reported abducted by Juan Pablo Torres, 41. He is described as a Hispanic male, standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and was wearing body armor, a face mask, and glasses, police said.

The involved car is a white or black Dodge Charger, according to the alert.

Anyone with information about the abduction should immediately contact the police by calling 911, or Cheltenham Township Police Department at 215-885-1600.
