Parking in Norristown Getting Cheaper

Parking is about to get cheaper in Norristown.

The Norristown Municipal Council on Feb. 3 approved a resolution that reduces parking fees by 50 cents at all downtown Norristown kiosks, the municipality said.

Beginning March 1, all kiosks will be $1.50 an hour. Additionally, all kiosks will accept credit cards, the municipality said.
