Philadelphia Soul Takes Over Elmwood Park Zoo on Saturday
The arena football team will take over the zoo from noon to 4 p.m. to practice for their upcoming game against the Spokane Shock.

The Philadelphia Soul arena football team will be turning the into a training ground on Saturday, July 7, from noon to 4 p.m. and the team is inviting everyone out to watch the get ready to take on the Spokane Shock on Sunday, July 8, at the Wells Fargo Center.
According to The Times Herald, the team is also bringing the Soulmates dancers to perform and sign autographs alongside the players. All of this is free with regular admission to the zoo.

"The whole football team is coming out to hold a run-through practice to gear up for their next game," Elmwood Park Zoo Development Coordinator Jennifer Adams told the Herald. "People can come out and watch them play and then meet some of the players and the coaches, in addition to the Soulman mascot."
According to the zoo's website, Soul season ticket holders, fans who received the Zoo flyer at the June 24 game, and ticket holders for the July 8 game are all eligible to receive discounted $7 admission. Saturday is also Enrichment Day at the zoo where the keepers will be putting together a variety of fun activities for a few of the zoo's animals and educating guests on ways they can contribute to the zoo’s enrichment efforts. According to the zoo, these enrichment days are vital to "providing animals with stimulating items and environments that encourage their natural behavior and enhance their well-being."
