UPDATE: Preschool Minivan Crashes Into Green Street Home

The driver was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

UPDATE: reports that yesterday's crash was the result of another car. Allegedly, a man driving an Acura rear ended the Ford Aerostar being driven by a 51-year-old Norristown woman. Both vehicles were attempting to turn left onto Green Street when the accident occured.

“The woman said she turned left into the alley and was rear ended,” Norristown Police Chief Russell Bono told The Herald. “A 7-year–old female child sitting in the back seat of the van received a bump on her forehead. The woman received minor injuries to her shoulder and right knee.”

According to The Herald, code enforcement examined the house the minvan crashed into and determined it had not been seriously damaged.

According to , , Plymouth Ambulance Company and the Norristown Fire Department responded to a call of a vehicle accident on the 800 block of Green Street today at approximately 9 a.m. On the scene, responders learned a Growing Together preschool minivan jumped the curb and struck a street sign and then a house.

There were no reported injuries to anyone on the scene, but the driver, an unidentified woman, was taken by Plymouth Ambulance Company to an area hospital. According to The Herald, she was coherent and alert at the time.
