Rick Santorum Drops out of Primary Race

Santorum said he decided to suspend his campaign after his 3-year-old daughter, Bella, spent the weekend in the hospital.

According to 6ABC Action News, Rick Santorum has suspended his campaign for President of the United States.

Santorum held a news conference today to deliver the news to the media and his supporters.

"We made a decision over the weekend, that while this presidential race for us is over for me... we are not done fighting," Santorum said.

Santorum reportedly spoke to Romney before making his announcement, but did not endorse his former rival.
