Sandusky Waives Preliminary Hearing, Plans to Fight Charges

The former Penn State coach's lawyer said, "There will be no plea negotiations; This is a fight to the death."

According to ABC Action News, former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky waived his right to a preliminary hearing today in what his lawyers called a "tactical move" to avoid having his accusers repeat the claims they made to the grand jury.

Sandusky is being charged with more than 50 counts of sexually abusing boys for more than a decade. According to ABC, his lawyer, Joseph Amendola, said some of the young men may have exagerated their claims and that others may be hoping to to make money by suing the school, Sandusky and the charity he founded.

Sandusky has denied the allegations against him and his lawyer said there will be no plea agreement.
