The PA Liquor Control Board released 2024 data on sales at its Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Drinkers in Norristown spent more than $25 million on alcohol in 2024, according to state statistics.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's annual report features sale figures for individual Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores across the state.
Here's how Norristown stores stacked up compared to the rest of the state:

- 49th overall: 900 Forge Road, $9,934,135 in sales
- 80th: 15 West Germantown Pike, $8,158,060 in sales
- 172nd: 2501 Main Street, $5,534,963 in sales
- 472nd: 2014 Old Arch Road, $1,776,456 in sales
- 542nd: 504 West Marshall Street, $813,332 in sales
Montgomery County, the third largest county in Pennsylvania, also had the third largest amount of sales, at $246,792,109. That's a 1.6 percent decrease from the year before, reflecting larger trends of economic crises, inflation, and younger generations drinking significantly less than they once did.
