Serial Bank Robber Strikes Again at a Citizens Bank in Philadelphia

According to a release issued by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Philadelphia Police Department and are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the Citizens Bank branch at 7327 Frankford Avenue yesterday. The same subject is also believed to be responsible for the robberies of the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 340 South 2nd Street on Nov. 29, the PNC Bank branch at 6855 Frankford Avenue on Dec. 7, and the Firstrust Bank at 7345 Frankford Avenue on Dec. 14.

In yesterday’s robbery of the Citizens Bank branch, which occurred at 12:33 p.m., the subject presented a threatening demand note to a teller and fled the bank after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash. The subject may have fled the area northbound on Frankford Avenue in an older model, cream-colored Mazda sedan with another male in the car. The subject used threatening demand notes in the previous robberies. There have been no physical injuries as a result of these robberies.

The subject is described as a white male in his 20s, 5’7” to 5’9” tall, medium build, with brown hair, scruffy facial hair, wearing large aviator sunglasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a red Phillies baseball cap.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the Philadelphia Police Department or the FBI at 215-418-4000. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
