Severe Thunderstorm Warning, Flash Flood Warning In Parts Of Montco, Chesco

Pea-sized hail and 60 mile per hour winds are possible in a specific area, the National Weather Service said.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for a large section of Montgomery County and parts of neighboring Chester County until 2 p.m., and a flash flood warning has been issued for much of the area until 5:30 p.m.

The National Weather Service said that pea-sized hail and winds up to 60 miles per hour are possible.

The impacted area covers the Schuylkill River Corridor and extends over to Harleysville and Norristown in the north and east, and as far south as Paoli and Downingtown.

The flash flood warning is in place for all of Montgomery County and small swaths of Chester and Berks counties.
