Sign-A-Rama Honors Fallen Plymouth Officer

Norristown Sign-A-Rama owner Gene Schneider created a banner dedicated to Officer Bradley Fox, who was killed in the line of duty last week.

Many residents took note of the new banner flying in front of the Sign-A-Rama in Studio Centre on Markley Street in Norristown. The sign is dedicated to Officer Bradley Fox, a Plymouth Township police officer who was killed in the line of duty on Thursday, Sept. 13, when a traffic stop turned deadly.

Norristown Sign-A-Rama owner Gene Schneider is known for his support of local servicemen, regularly creating banners gratis for families' of returning soldiers to help welcome them home. It was this same sentiment that led Schneider to hang a banner in front of his business offering condolences to the Fox family and heralding the officer as a hero.

"It's out of respect," Schneider told Norristown Patch. "It's a tragedy, and it hit home. It's just sad... so we thought we'd do something and get it out there. Just kind of keep people aware."
