Snow Emergency Declared in Norristown

Snow emergencies have also been declared in East and West Norriton townships.

A snow emergency has been declared in Norristown, the Norristown Fire Department said Monday.

“A winter storm has caused or threatens to cause injury, damage, and suffering to the persons and property of the Municipality of Norristown,” the Declaration of Emergency Disaster reads.

The snow emergency begins Monday, Jan. 26, and will last until Wednesday, Jan. 28, Norristown said.
