A Tearjerker Budweiser Spot, and Other Ads You'll See Super Bowl Sunday

Millions of people will tune in Sunday night to watch the New England Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.

But some people will be tuning in just to see some of the best commercials made all year, which this year cost a record $4.5 million for a 30-second spot, Digiday said.

Some advertisers release their commercials in advance, a trend that allows them to pick up several million hits on social media before they ever air on television, a Villanova University marketing professor told Patch before the 2014 Super Bowl.

Some wait to debut them during the big game. This year, several advertisers, including Coca-Cola, have released “teaser” ads in advance of Super Bowl Sunday, AdAge reported.

This year there are about 15 new advertisers buying spots for Super Bowl XLIX, AdAge reported.
