2nd Suspect Charged In Fatal Norristown Shooting
Naseem Worrell, 17, is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of a Norristown man last month.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A teen has been taken into custody in connection with a fatal shooting in Norristown last month. Naseem Worrell, 17, of Norristown was taken into custody without incident on Friday night in Philadelphia.
Worrell is charged with first-degree murder for the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Tahaj Harrison close to his Corson Street home in Norristown on May 23, officials with the Montgomery County District Attorney's office said.
Worrell is the second suspect of three charged in the fatal shooting.

Multiple gunshots were reported the night of the shooting, which happened around 9:45 p.m. in the 600 block of Corson Street. Responding officers found Harrison dead in the rear yard of his home.
Video surveillance showed three men walking on Corson Street and firing shots at Harrison before fleeing.

Authorities recovered six cartridge casings and two live rounds of 9mm ammunition. Ballistic testing found that the fired cartridge casings came from three different firearms.
Kaleem Roland, 16, was arrested last Wednesday. The third man is still being sought by police.
In addition to the first-degree murder charges, Worrell was charged with third-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, firearms not to be possessed by a minor, and possession of a firearm without a license.
Worrell was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Andrea Duffy.
There is no bail for first-degree murder charges. Worrell was sent to the Montgomery County Youth Detention Center. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m., June 20, before Magisterial District Judge Todd N. Barnes.
