Teenager Kicked in Face, Robbed by Three Men, Say Police

A teenager and his mother told Norristown police that he was forced to the ground by three men, who kicked him in the face and took his iPhone, say police.

A teenager was allegedly robbed by three men on Walnut Street in Norristown on the evening of Sept. 25, where the men forced him onto the ground, kicked his face, and took his iPhone, say police.

A mother and her teenage son told Norristown police that the son was the victim of a strong-armed robbery on the 800 block of Walnut Street around 9 p.m., according to a Norristown police report.

The mother and son said that he had been walking home listening to his iPhone that he held in his hand, when three African American men dressed in black came upon him from behind, say police. The two told police that the men grabbed the son by the backpack, forced him to the ground, and then kicked him in the face and took his iPhone, according to the report.

The three men ran west on Oak Street. Norristown police searched the area but did not find anything, say police.
