Tough Times Mean Great Deals at Main Street Pizzeria & Grille

Jon Evearts, owner of the West Main Street pizza shop, is lowering prices to help customers cope with their shrinking budgets.

According to , the folks at are rolling back prices in an effort to not only help their regulars who are struggling in these tough economic times, but to woo back some customers from the big chain pizza slingers.

“We’re trying to be as generous as we can without breaking the bank,” owner Jon Evearts told The Herald. “We dropped our pizza prices from $11.50 to $9.95 for a large, and brought back our medium size pizza. The other places are charging $13.50 and more for a large.”

Other specials include a Sunday-through-Wednesday deal on pick-up orders: a 14-inch medium pizza (what some chain stores consider a large) for $5 and a 16-inch for only $7.49; $1 off hoagies every Monday; and a price drop on Main Street's Dug Out crabcake sandwich from $9.95 to $8.95.
