Trees Downed On Schuylkill River Trail In West Norriton Amid Storm
Residents are urged to exercise caution as high winds sweep through the area.

WEST NORRITON, PA — As heavy rain and powerful wind gusts slammed into parts of the region Thursday, multiple trees came down on the Schuylkill River Trail in West Norriton.
The incident occurred in the area of the Betzwood and Port Indian trailheads.
The trail is not shut down, but trail users and residents are urged to exercise caution.

Wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour are possible as the storm moves through the region through Thursday evening, the National Weather Service said.
No injuries have been reported.
