Trivia Night, Bilingual Storytime This Week

Bilingual English-Spanish storytime and songs, and an introduction to sign language will be held at the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Norristown Farmer’s Market will be held on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., bringing fresh, local produce to the base of the county courthouse. CADCOM’s nutrition tent stationed next to the market helps seniors sign up for a supplemental box of nutritious food. 

Mercy Suburban Hospital will host a forum and dinner to educate the public about heart disease on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Reservations are required.  

Trivia Night and a silent auction will be held on Friday at 6-10 p.m. at the Teamsters Local 384 Hall. $35 for advance registration and $35 at the door. There will be prizes for the winning team. Proceeds benefit the Literacy Council of Norristown. Must be 21 years old to attend. 

The Collegeville Fire Co. is now accepting registrations for its Second Annual Hero Run 5K, which will be held on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Proceeds will benefit their fellow firefighters in Texas and Arizona.
