Trooper Road Lane Closures Next Week in Montgomery County
An overhead sign structure will be installed, PennDOT said.

The following was provided to Patch by PennDOT:
Southbound Route 363 (Trooper Road) will be restricted to one lane at Audubon Road in West Norriton and Lower Providence townships, Montgomery County, on Monday through Wednesday (Jan. 19-21) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the installation of an overhead sign structure, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said Thursday.
This operation is part of PennDOT’s $16.8 million project to improve travel through the U.S. 422-Route 363 (Trooper Road) Interchange by constructing two additional access ramps and widening Route 363 (Trooper Road).

Construction began in October 2013 to build an on-ramp from Route 363 (Trooper Road) to westbound U.S. 422 and an off-ramp from eastbound U.S. 422 to Route 363 (Trooper Road), and to widen Route 363 (Trooper Road). The project is scheduled to finish in fall 2015.
J.D. Eckman, Inc. of Atglen, Chester County, is the general contractor on the $16,857,533 contract, which is financed with 100 percent federal funds.
