USM Giving Back to the Community
The company has formed a Community Involvement Committee to support local charities.

According to Citybizlist Philadelphia, USM has formed a committee to help support local charities. Through its Community Involvement Committee, employees have been donating time, money and food to local organizations that help the less fortunate.
According to USM, they've already helped several local groups with the following projects:
Norristown Family Food Drive – USM collected over 5,000 non-perishables for the .

Operation WOW (Wishes of Warmth) – USM is currently collecting winter clothing for the .
Laurel House – First aid kit supplies were provided to Laurel House in Norristown in conjunction with the Coordinated Homeless Outreach Center of Montgomery County.

Title 1 Schools – USM has donated office supplies to , , and middle schools, and .
"At USM and within the entire EMCOR organization, we believe in the importance of community," said Ivan Dubow, Chief Operating Officer at USM Services in the Citybizlist piece. "We have made a corporate commitment to help those in need. By forming the Community Involvement Committee, our employees have taken up this mantle and are making a real impact on the lives of our neighbors."
USM is also expanding its "Taking KidSafety To The Street" program which has helped recover over 225 missing children since its launch in 2005. Images of local missing children are now featured on vehicle posters on USM vehicles across the state. USM offers the posters free to businesses to display as well.
