UPDATE: Fazio Guilty of Theft Charges, Acquitted of Others in 770 Sandy Street Case

According to The Times Herald, Robert Bruce Fazio was found guilty today of theft by deception, theft by not making required disposition of funds and receiving stolen property, but not guilty of risking a catastrophe and endangering the welfare of others for his flawed construction of the condemned luxury condo he owned at 770 Sandy Street.

Both sides rested on Friday in the case of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania v. Robert "Bruce" Fazio – the developer responsible for the condemned luxury condo at 770 Sandy Street – and after over two years of municipal scandal and legal maneuvers, Judge William Carpenter may finally provide some answers when he issues a ruling in the matter expected sometime today.

According to The Times Herald, Fazio is charged with recklessly endangering the welfare of others, endangering a catastrophe, defrauding creditors and theft for the structural issues that caused his luxury condominium complex at 770 Sandy St. to be condemned in May 2010. Fazio's lawyer contends that his client is law-abiding developer who was misled by Norristown officials who continually approved his flawed plans.
