W. Norriton Says Nothing to be Done with Sterigere, Whitehall Intersection

About 100 West Norriston residents turned out Monday night at the Jeffersonville Golf Club to debate the proposals.

According to , the Montgomery County Planning Commission offered up two proposals for a new intersection at Whitehall Road and Sterigere Street at Monday-night meeting at the , but neither plan struck a cord with the hundred or so residents who turned out.

Reportedly, the suggestion that nothing be done to change the intersection got the most resident support. The earlier, unpopular roundabout proposal was not even offered up.

According to Montgomery County Planning Commission Assistant Director Leo Bagley, “It is a very complex process to get through the PennDOT process.”
