West Norriton Honors Chief Adams, Deputy Chief Hallman and Phyllis Byndas
A dinner honoring the recently retired trio is planned for Friday, April 26 at Westover Country Club.

The West Norriton Township Police Department has announced plans for retirement dinner honoring retired West Norriton Police Chief Robert P. Adams, Deputy Chief Joseph L. Hallman and Administrative Assistant Phyllis Byndas. Both Chief Adams and Deputy Chief Hallman retired on Dec. 31, 2012. Byndas retired prior to that, but all three were longtime employees of the township.
The retirement dinner will be held Friday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Westover Country Club, 401 South Schuylkill Avenue in West Norriton. The dinner will feature tossed salad, a choice of salmon or prime rib, sugar snap peas, twice-baked potatoes and cheesecake for dessert. There will also be an open bar from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and music courtesy of Showtime DJs.
Tickets for the event are $50. Checks can be made payable to "West Norriton Police Association" and mailed to 1630 West Marshall Street, Jeffersonville, PA 19403. Tickets can also be purchased directly at the West Norriton Police station.
