West Norriton Looks To Hire Three Police Officers

WEST NORRITON, PA — The West Norriton Police Department is looking to hire three more officers, the department said in a Facebook post.

According to the post, job postings for the positions will go live on the police department's website. Applications will not be accepted through Facebook.

The department's website states applicants must pay a $35 fee to apply. The fee must be paid when the application is submitted.

To qualify for the position, an applicant must be a U.S. citizen, 21-years-old or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent and a current Pennsylvania Operation's License.

Applicants for the position of police officer must also complete a physical agility test that includes a 300-meter run, a 1.5-mile run, a bench press and sit-ups.
