Zoning Public Hearing Slated for Tuesday, May 15

The Municipality of Norristown's Zoning Hearing Board will conduct a public hearing on the following appeals:

Conditional Use Review For a Property at 515 West Main Street. Property Owner: Mike Kleha & Vince Braccia, 1121 Horsham Road, Ambler, Pa 19002.

Mr. Kleha and Mr. Braccia are seeking conditional use approval from Municipal Council,  in accordance with Section 320-57D, use regulations, to allow a “mixed use” office on the first floor and residential apartment on the second and third floor, in the R-O Residential Office District. 

Subdivision/Land Development for  properties at 728 Astor St. and 301 W. Oak Street. Property Owner: Joel Sandoval, Oak and Astor LLC, 354 West Elm Street, Norristown,  Pa  19401

Joel Sandoval is requesting subdivision and land development approval to consolidate four (4) parcels into one (1) parcel to convert a vacant industrial building into a retail grocery store and a restaurant with incidental storage space in the UDO II Zoning District.

Subdivision/Land Development for a property at 735 East Oak Street. Property Owner: AVA Land Holdings, 1301 Fayette St., Conshohocken, Pa  19428.

AVA Land Holdings is requesting subdivision/land development approval to raze the existing family home and construct ten town homes in the R-2 Residential Zoning District.

The applicant, as well as all persons interested and/or wishing to be heard in this matter, must be present for the Municipal Council meeting to be held on Tuesday, May 15, at 7:30 p.m., in Council Chambers, at , 235 East Airy Street.
