Gas Prices Dip Slightly Over the Week

With a steady decline in gas prices throughout April, the average price per gallon is nearly 45 cents lower than a year ago, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report.

The national average this week is $3.508 for a gallon, down .7 cents from last week.

In Pennsylvania, today’s average price of self-serve gasoline is $3.463 per gallon down 2.7 cents from a week ago, down 19.2 cents from a month ago and 40 cents lower than a year ago.

In the Lehigh Valley, the average price of self-serve gasoline is $3.425 per gallon, 3.4 cents lower than a week ago, 20 cents lower than a month ago and 44.8 cents lower than a year ago.

Nearby, the cheapest price for regular is $3.39 at the Hess Gas Station, 3640  Route 309, Orefield.
