Northampton Community College's Emerging Technologies Applications Center (ETAC) are working on a geothermal feasibility study, thanks to a grant from the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania to Noble Biomaterials, Inc.
The study will test the suitability of anthracite mine water for geothermal manufacturing process heating and cooling for industrial use.
