Wilson police are investigating three burglaries at two vacant homes in the borough.
All burglaries were reported between Tuesday and Wednesday, police said, although it's not clear exactly when the break-ins occurred.

In the first case, someone broke into a home on the 1700 block of Washington Street through the back door, and stole copper piping.
The second burglary happened on the 1500 block of Ferry Street, but no copper pipe was stolen.

The third took place on the 1500 block of Lehigh Street, where more copper piping was taken. All three homes were either listed as for sale or had just been foreclosed on.
