Excessive Heat Expected for First Day of Summer
The National Weather Service expects temperature to hit near 103 on Wednesday, the first day of summer.

A major warm-up is expected for the start of summer as temperatures will climb from the upper 90s Wednesday and Thursday to near 103, according to the National Weather Service.
The forecast for Wednesday - the first official day of summer - is sunny with a possible heat index - that's heat plus humidity - of 103.
Thursday is also expected to be sunny and hot with a high near 97.
